What is a Self-Certified Sophisticated Investor

There are two routes to qualify as a Self-Certified Sophisticated Investor:

1. Lenders who have completed at least one investment cycle on the Kuflink platform on any product or invested at least twice for a period of a year; will automatically be classed as a Certified Sophisticated Investor

2. You may qualify as a self-certified sophisticated investor if you declare any of the following criteria (A, B, C, or D) apply to you:

In the last two years you have:

A) worked in private equity or in the provision of finance for small and medium enterprises.

OR

B) been the director of a company with an annual turnover of at least £1 million?

OR

C) made two or more investments in an unlisted company?

OR

D) been a member of a network or syndicate of business angels for more than six months?
